These classes meet at 9:00 AM on Sunday morning and provide educational classes in various biblical and practical faith issues to assist people in better understanding the Christian faith.

Basics Track: Christianity Explained

Wondering who Jesus really is and what Christianity is all about? Need a refresher? This is the class for you. It’s a four-week study through the gospel of Mark, followed by a class for those inquiring about membership at FVBC, and finishing with the basics of starting out in the Christian life.

Bible Overview Track: OT Pentateuch and Historical

We’ve all been there – bogged down in Leviticus or 1Chronicles! How do you make sense of Israel’s law and history in a way that you can profit from spiritually as a Christian in the twenty-first century? Come learn how in this twelve week series through the Pentateuch (Genesis-Deuteronomy) and the Historical books (Joshua-Esther).

Christian Life Track: Living as a Church

Isn’t it good enough for me to have a daily quiet time? That misconception is popular in our individualistic times. But God didn’t save us into a vacuum. He saved us into a living community. This class will help you understand the disciplines and dynamics of living the Christian life together with other believers in the context of a local church.

Christian Growth Track: Discipling

Making disciples is central to God’s plan for the local church and for the Christians who comprise it. Many of us are excited about the idea, but we often feel we need some tracks to run on. This series will teach us about the importance of discipling for the spiritual growth of the local church. It will also give practical suggestions on what subjects to cover, a strategy for encouraging spiritual growth in others, and will even give you tools for your backpack as you start the journey.
