Welcome to The Fold!

Fox Valley Bible Church nursery is dedicated to providing a loving environment, as well as safe, healthy and fun care for our children. We want babies to feel, from the start, that church is a place where they are loved and welcome.

The Facilities

The Infant Nursery is comprised of four rooms:

• The Play Room has a cubby for each child's belongings, soft books, toys, rattles, and diaper bags.
• The Sleeping Room contains 12 cribs and is equipped with a baby monitor.
• The Swing Room contains multiple swing units and play space.
• The Nursing Room is complete with rockers, changing table, sink, crib, and TV monitor to view the service.

The Toddler Nursery is made up of two adjoining rooms:

• The Play Room has a cubby for each child's belongings, books, other age-appropriate toys and diaper bags.
• The Learning Room is equipped with push and ride-on toys, books, toys and an area for song and story time.
• A bathroom facility is also located within the suite for toddler use.

Each nursery is supplied with emergency diapers and wipes (we ask that you provide these items for your own child in his diaper bag), tissue and snacks.

The Staff

Parents and non-parents alike care for our children. More than 50 volunteers devote their time in caring for these precious little ones. A supervisor is assigned to each room, with a weekly rotating staff. The Nursery Coordinating Team sees that there is adequate staffing each Sunday, and also that the rooms and toys are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for your child. Bringing Your Child into The Fold Please see that your child's personal belongings are clearly labeled (bottles, pacifiers, diaper bag, etc.). We also ask that you provide the information requested on your child's file card. You will be given a numbered claim tag which corresponds to the number on your child's name tag. As a safety precaution this tag will be required when you return to pick up your child.

Health and Hygiene

To protect the health of your child and all the children we serve, please do not bring a child to The Fold who has any of the following:

• Fever
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Runny nose caused by illness
• Cough
• Skin infections
• Eye discharge

The nursery staff will not admit a child with any of these conditions. If your child has allergies or any other non-contagious medical concerns, please notify the Nursery Coordinating Team. We appreciate your strict adherence to this sickness policy.

If you find an instance where you feel your child is not contagious, but you do not wish to put him in The Fold, a room is available to view the service on a monitor.

Fox Valley Bible Church invites infants and toddlers into "The Fold," our well equipped, lovingly staffed, expertly administered nursery. Every attention is given to providing loving, secure care for our littlest ones. The nursery is available during all services ~ Sunday morning and evening.
